Discover the transformative impact of our scholarships and grants on students' lives.
At the Anderson Family Foundation, we believe that every student deserves the chance to pursue their dreams, regardless of their financial situation or life circumstances. Our mission is to provide scholarships, grants, and comprehensive support to students in need, empowering them to overcome obstacles and create a brighter future. By breaking down financial and social barriers, we enable students to reach their full potential and contribute positively to their communities.
To empower and uplift students facing financial hardships, homelessness, and other challenges by providing scholarships, grants, and holistic support, helping them confidently step into their futures.
To ensure that every deserving student and community member has the opportunity to thrive through access to education, support services, and resources, regardless of their financial background or life situation.
We believe in the power of education to transform lives. Our community-backed scholarships will continue to help remove financial barriers, allowing students to focus on their studies and achieve academic success.
Beyond financial assistance, we offer mentorship, resources, and community engagement programs that guide students and their families through their educational and personal journeys. Our support network ensures that our community has tools to succeed both academically and in life.
"I’m passionate about supporting students on their journey to college or vocational schools, as well as helping the less fortunate in our community. As the Founder of the Anderson Family Foundation, I lead efforts to raise funds that provide essential resources like school supplies, food for the homeless, and assistance to veterans."
I proudly served in the U.S. Army, retiring in 2015. During my service, I held various leadership roles, including NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer) and career counselor, where I guided soldiers on career choices and ensured their families were supported. Over the last five years of my career, I earned two "Outstanding Counselor of the Year" awards for exceeding unit retention goals.
Through the Anderson Family Foundation, I focus on helping students prepare for higher education and vocational training, providing back-to-school supplies, and supporting local families. I also work to feed the homeless and collaborate with veterans, ensuring they receive the support they deserve.
In my free time, I enjoy fishing, camping, and tailgating at races and football games. One of my greatest joys is riding my motorcycle across the country and restoring old cars with my son. I also love perfecting my BBQ skills at family gatherings.
As a career counselor in the Army, I helped soldiers navigate their futures and was recognized for my contributions with two counselor of the year awards. Post-retirement, I’ve served as president of my fraternity's local 501(c)(3) board, working to establish partnerships with businesses and colleges to support local families in need.
